  Visited the area for Canada Day weekend. The resort looked great and I'd love to stay there next time we head out!

  The front desk clerk was extremely rude when checking in. She had messed up our room and blamed it on us, giving us grief and making it very obvious with multiple sighs that we were "giving her a hard time" due to wanting our correct room we had booked a month and half in advance for. During checkout another lady, a older lady was extremely friendly and nice. They need a new front desk lady, asap.

  Visited Gimli recently (tired of Winnipeg drivers) and had lunch at the Seagull Restaurant in the Lakeshore Resort Hotel. Table service was excellent, as were all the restaurant staff, and the Reuben itself was our best Reuben ever, no exaggeration! Fries were only average. Meal price was reasonable. Will certainly return again and would recommend highly.

  We stayed overnight Saturday to Sunday because we were doing work on our trailer at a nearby camp. The front counter staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room from a 2 Queen to a king suite. I did put a note in my reservation that I wanted a one bed room if possible, but it wasn't looked at and I needed to bring it up when I got there. The rooms and building are dated, definitely needs an upgrade. The bed was very comfortable but the coffee mugs were caked with old coffee that obviously didn't come off when they washed them and the bar sink had what looked to be toothpaste all over it. We're really sore from working hard all day at the trailer and were really looking forward to the hot tub. However, there was a large group of people in the tub (it was over flowing) that were not obeying any sort of time limit. They were drinking alcohol, cans all over. It wasn't relaxing at all! No staff came by the pool area either. I would think that they've got cameras to see what's going on in the pool area? It was a disappointing stay.
