  There's a lot of great things about Gimli, a lot of good food as well. For some reason, most of the pizza I've tried has not been very good. This was probably mostly my mistake though. A beach food place very close to the beach and full of tourists. Most of them eating fries, burgers, and chicken fingers. In fact, their gigantic portions of fries with chili heaped on top was probably the biggest draw there, they were even suggested to me when I called. Sadly, I chose pizza. Thick generous helpings of cheese on top of pepperoni slices completely covering the sauce were the high points. The clearly store bought frozen crust was what ruined it. Not a lot of flavor in general. I'm guessing that even as busy as they were on a long weekend very few people were buying pizzas. I certainly did not see any in their fairly large dining room. Maybe I'll got again but only for a gyro or some fries.
